The Main Course book is a spiral-bound 358-page volume consisting of six parts. Its content is the subject of the exam questions.
2) The 4th Edition Aromatherapy Course Essential Oil Collection (valued at $ 500)
The Course package includes 32 essential oils in two pouches with 16 oils each (29 are 5 ml quantities and 3 are 1 ml). Among the included oils are precious examples such as Everlasting and German Chamomile, different species of Eucalyptus and different Chemotypes of Thyme. There are different specimens of Ginger and Rose illustrating how different products can be dervived from the identical plant by different extraction methods such as distillation, solvent extraction or CO2 extraction. These samples offer olfactory impressions, while also representing valuable additions to every essential oil library. All oils are described in the Course book and are chosen to illustrate - by fragrance - different Aromatherapy topics. One such topic, for instance, is the comparison of a steam distilled oil vs. the CO2 extract of the same plant.
